Press Fit Vents

Press Fit Vents provide ventilation for a variety of objects, including electronics and furniture. This design uses press-fit technology, which eliminates the need for screws or adhesive and allows for easy installation on the product's surface. Press Fit Vents improve the product's heat dissipation performance, keeping the gadget cool even at high loads. This ventilation design not only effectively eliminates heat, but it also keeps dust and other contaminants out of the device's inside, extending its life.

Press-Fit Enclosure Protection Vents protect enclosures and equipment from particles, water, oil and other liquids without compromising performance. They consist of a filter material and a pressure-sensitive adhesive ring that secures the vent to the equipment.

Handle the vents with gloves or rounded tweezers.
Mounting surfaces must be clean and free of oils, particulates, and other pollutants.
Vents should be installed on level, vertical surfaces where liquids or other impurities would not accumulate.
Follow dispenser directions when utilizing an automated vent dispenser.
For manual vent dispensing, roll the liner under the vent until it extends beyond the liner and is easily accessible.
Do not pry the vent from the liner or fold the vent, as this may harm it.
 

Vent placement accuracy can be increased by employing markings, a recessed region, or a target area in which the vent is centered above the vent hole in the device or enclosure.
Apply gentle finger pressure (15 PSI is recommended) to the adhesive ring to seal the vent to the device or housing.
Do not try to relocate the vent after installation. This can harm the vents.
Allow at least 24 hours of dwell time before using or testing the vent.
