Waterproof Breathable Cap

The SR Light waterproof breathable cap is designed for use in automotive headlights, tail lights, fog lights, and other vehicle lighting systems. It effectively balances pressure differentials between the interior and exterior of headlight assemblies, protecting seals from damage while preventing ingress of water, water vapor, dust, and grease.​

With an IP68 protection rating, this component also reduces internal fogging and condensation in automotive headlights, ensuring clearer, brighter illumination.

The SR lamp waterproof breathable cap incorporates an ePTFE membrane core encased in a durable PP plastic shell, offered in black and grey. Boasting excellent breathability (>1000ml/min@70mbar), it ensures optimal airflow while providing reliable protection against moisture and dust. With customizable options available upon request, this cap is ideal for lighting fixtures that require both effective ventilation and superior waterproof performance.
