Products Description
Vent EPTFE membrane is a special film made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) with a microporous structure. This membrane is widely used in various fields such as medical, industrial, outdoor sports and clothing. The uniqueness of Vent EPTFE membrane lies in its microporous structure, which is very small and can prevent moisture and liquid penetration while allowing air and water vapor to pass through to achieve breathing function.

Features
.Robust design provides maximum protection from harsh environments
.Hydrophobic vent meets water repellency IP68
.Oleophobic vent meets oil repellency ratings up to 8
.Provides dust and liquid protection while equalizing pressure
.Screw-Fit design integrates easily into your device for quick assembly
.Secure vent cap design will not separate from the body during installation or application
.Durable automotive-grade glass-filled PBT plastic provides high strength and resistance to harsh environment
Working Principle
The microporous structure of ePTFE membrane is the key to achieving ventilation function. The size of these micropores is generally in the micron level, usually between 0.1 - 10 microns. The diameter of air molecules is relatively small and can pass through these micropores freely, thereby achieving air exchange and achieving the purpose of ventilation. Larger particles such as dust and water droplets will be blocked outside the membrane because their diameter is much larger than the diameter of the micropores, realizing the waterproof and dustproof function of the vent.
Advantages
1. Waterproof and moisture-proof ability. This waterproof and breathable material is ideal for outdoor applications and provides excellent protection in all weather conditions.
2. The microporous structure allows air circulation, keeping workers and equipment dry and comfortable even in humid environments.
3. Durability and reliability. The material is known for its excellent strength and durability, ensuring that it can withstand harsh conditions and extreme temperatures.
